Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of ‘Descending Curse‘ the debut full-length album from Warsaw, Poland-based black/death thrash metal quartet HEXENALTAR. Active since 2021 the band’ve undergone a few line-up changes since a slew of 2022-released havoc and today reveal a quick and dirty long-player entrenched in its own form of bestially whipping black/death informed thrash. Short and stalking pieces dominate their run here, a feat sparked upon its own sense of evil speed metal informed militance amidst the horrors of death, damnation and possession in mind. Fans of everything from Slutvomit, Nifelheim and earlier Power From Hell should appreciate their wroth execution and the brevity with which is its applied.
