Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of the debut full-length album from Warsaw, Poland-based death metal metal quintet ABOMINATED. Though this project is fairly new it shouldn’t take long to wrap your head around their gig, this is an admirably pure and pulverizing ‘old school’ death metal band focused on extending the brutality of the early 90’s in their own way. Chainsaws in one hand and shock batons in the other these folks are not afraid to blast and buzz their way through introductions, as ‘Traumatic Putrefaction‘ finds them firing off their own modulation of the HM-2 grizzled tone atop a frantically hammered pulse for a sound that invokes classic Swedish death as much as it does the grinding U.K. variant. When they turn up the slaps-per-minute everything locks into place for a solid and engaging half hour of classic riff and roar death metal. Where their approach holds my attention and stands out most is in the intensity of their performances, how they keep the momentum geared up while tweaking the formula enough to make it their own.

The album releases this Friday, September 22nd on vinyl LP, compact disc, cassette tape and digitally by way of the good folks over at Godz ov War Productions (CD/LP) in collab with Behind the Mountain, cassettes from Destruktion Records.
