Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of ‘Fears to Fathom‘ the debut full-length album from Stone Mountain, Georgia-based heavy metal quartet ËVIL SÍNNER. Though they’d only just formed just a year ago as a duo these teenaged folks have been driven, working towards this ‘old school’ pure heavy metal result for a few years while admirably intending the grit of true 80’s metal with the 70’s still in view. They’ve done an incredible job of capturing the vibrancy of live-in-studio performance which allows their songs to speak through tuneful menace, real heavy metal largely untouched by modern revisionism.
Drummer JaCorien Lester comments on their intentionally raw sound design: “We didn’t want sterile digital production. We wanted the warmth, grit, and danger of the old way — the same methods the legends of speed and heavy metal used in the ’70s and ’80s.” and though the result speaks for itself he makes it crystal clear that this was the ideal result “This record is pure, true old-school heavy southern speed metal. No bullshit, no overproduction, no slowing down. We wanted to capture the true essence of the Satanic Panic era — something innovative for the time but also familiar sounding — and I think we’ve achieved that with Fears To Fathom.” and I concur, it definitely feels like they were pulled direct from an early Metal Massacre comp.
Thanks goes out to IronBound Records and Ëvil Sínner for the opportunity to share this album early. Ëvil Sínner Set to Release Debut Full-Length Album Fears To Fathom — A Relentless Heavy Metal Onslaught
Underground heavy speed metal force Ëvil Sínner are set to unleash their long-awaited debut record “Fears To Fathom” on October 31st, 2025 through IronBound Records. The album will be available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp, with a limited cassette edition for physical release. Following the success of their furious demo “Power Surge”, the band is ready to take their ferocious speed and heavy metal attack to new heights.
Recorded during two sessions in June 2025 at Spectral Moon Studios in Atlanta, Fears To Fathom was tracked straight to analog tape using early ’80s recording methods. The result is an album that captures Ëvil Sínner’s trademark speed, blazing riffs, and haunting vocals while channeling the raw energy of traditional heavy metal and the NWOBHM movement.
The songwriting was a collaboration between Lester and vocalist/guitarist Remington Hill, with much of the material written in the year following Power Surge. Hill contributed heavily to shaping the lyrics, trimming them into sharper form and adding his own old-school evil touch. Produced by Lester and mixed/mastered by James Bartlet, the album balances rawness with clarity, letting every riff, drum hit, and vocal cut through with live energy.
Why this album? Because Ëvil Sínner believe true heavy metal has been buried beneath trends and watered down imitations. With bands like Interceptor, Cruel Force, Wanted, and others raising the torch of real metal once again, Fears To Fathom is Ëvil Sínner’s declaration of war… Fast, loud, and uncompromising.
