An Early Stream of THUNRAZ ‘Incineration Day’ LP (2024)PREMIERE

Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of ‘Incineration Day‘ the fourth full-length album from Tallin, Estonia-based industrial death metal project THUNRAZ which releases this coming November 22nd. Formed at some point nearby 2018 by musician Madis Jalakas and backed by various drummers since Thunraz has been an outlet for both emotion and experimentation during trying times and heavier musing, filling an existential need and volatile muse in its creation. As suggested by Jalakas:

Incineration Day is an unflinching and personal look at human misery with the core idea being that it’s better to die than be turned into an unfeeling husk. No abstract pseudo-intellectualism or Satan worship here, only raw honesty and creative freedom.

And in that process we get a remarkable feat, organic fusion of death metal with early industrial metal’s grinding apparatus alongside more nuanced inspiration taken from the artists mind palace. Check out my review of ‘Incineration Day‘ for more of my personal thoughts or jump right into the album and see what you think.

Thanks goes out to Thunraz and their representation for the opportunity to share this album early. Scroll down to the Bandcamp embed below to finalize your descent… As always, please do your best to support the worldwide death metal underground and grab a copy on CD this November 22nd:
