Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of ‘…Of Blasphemies & Lust!‘ the debut full-length album from El Salvador-based black-thrashing speed metal quartet SATANIC PRIEST. At war since 2019 and at work on this album beyond their 2020 released four song demo tape these folks craft classic metalpunk style per their own take on UK82-edged witching speed metal attack. Tuneful in steady motion and all-pro in terms of their production values the necessary grit which otherwise characterizes this album comes from its hard-assed attitude and the performances themselves which are struck accordingly. Any fan of black speed/thrash metal should lock into their style right off the bat and there is a substantial ride here to jump into at just over ~52 minutes of song.

Biography:

Satanic Priest is a Black / Thrash / Speed Metal band from El Salvador founded in April 2019 by Aldaír Mejía (Voice), Rodrigo Salguero (Guitars) and Gabriel Puente (Drums). 

 The band began to rehearse frequently, composing 5 songs. After several rehearsals, Juan Calles (Bass) was added to the lineup, continuing to compose more songs with the aim of recording the band’s first record production.  

The band debuted on stage at the event organized by Megarock Records in July 2019. In December of that same year, the band also performed at the event organized by Nebula Forest Productions called Blackburn Metal Fest. That same month Juan Calles leaves the band and Robert Malcoms replaces him a few days before appearing at the festival organized by Templo de Lucifer Productions called Bestial Devastation Festival in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. 

 In 2020 the band enters Ars Nova Studio to record their first demo, which is a 4-song demo. The demo is released by Born For Burning Productions in March and then a second version is announced, which was released by Evil Steel Records. A third version of the demo was released by RGR Records and Distro in May 2021. 

 In November 2021, the band began recording the material that would form part of their first full length album. This material was recorded by Morbid Miasma at Vispera del Demonio Estudio (El Salvador), mixed and mastered by Cristian León of Lion’s Roar Studio (Chile).  

The album is titled “…Of Blasphemies and Lust” which will be released by Vicious Witch Records (UK) on CD format in May 2024.
