An Early Stream of PCB DEALER / SEVENT Split 7″ (2023)PREMIERE

Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of a split 7″ release from the meandering experimental pulse of two unique artists. First the jazz-infused noise rock/grind project SEVENT with its Fibonacci-spiraling descent on “Untitled” and a droning synth-walk from the beach to a condemned Radio Shack on “Freq Sweep” by way of PCB DEALER (Cosmic Reef Temple, Dipygus). Though each act is singular, experimental and feeling their own plane on these songs they mesh well for the sake of their equally freaked out exploration of mood and motion.

The 7″ releases this Friday, November 3rd on vinyl and digitally by way of Wave Guardian Records.

Thanks goes out to the artist, their label and self-representation for the opportunity to share this album a few days early. Scroll down to the Bandcamp embed below to finalize your descent… As always, please do your best to support the death metal underground worldwide and grab a physical copy from Wave Guardian Records this Friday:

Per the Press Release:

Info –

“The SEVENT side was recorded pen pal style via Los Angeles and France between long time collaborators, Gimme and Mike Meanstreetz, and the result is an angular jazz fusion with a particularly heavy twist. Utilizing dissonance and oblique timing, the track ventures from noise rock to blasting noise grind; keeping the listener hooked and wrongly predicting every beat. Sevent is associated with many experimental acts of the Los Angeles area and beyond including Gasp, Sissy Spacek, Pure Shit and Sobbing Honey.

The reverse side is PCB Dealer’s debut release featuring an analog synthesizer mishmash of ambient drone and driving percussion with melodic repetition. From the dirty synthwave scheme “Freq Sweep” breaches the surface of the influences of PCB DEALER sprinkled with absurdist and surrealist worship. Aside from being a member of several bands (Cosmic Reef Temple & Dipygus) released by Wave Guardian Records, PCB Dealer is also the one behind the curtain of the label itself.”

Both sides mixed & mastered by Michael Rozon.
