Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of “Through Abhorrent Dimensions” the latest single taken from Turku, Finland based death metal quintet SEPULCHRAL CURSE‘s sophomore full-length album ‘Abhorrent Dimensions‘. This titular piece serves as a dramatic conclusion, the closing piece for this impressively evolved yet ‘old school’ spirited death metal record from these intelligent beasts who’ve done well to represent an intense yet well-rounded showing of technique, brutality, melodicism and diabolic dual guitar wizardry within every piece on display. As the terminal point in their presentation there is spite beyond aggression in the tone of this piece, a satisfied and almost triumphal lean to their craft as shades of ‘epic’ melodic death a la Sulphur Aeon collide with a grinding early 90’s Pestilence-esque kick. Of course this is just one grand plot among seven pieces which cover plenty more ground within their expanse. Once you’ve taken the journey with Sepulchral Curse through ‘Abhorrent Dimensions‘ you’ll have no need for outside references as they fully realize their own brilliant shape on this accomplished second full-length album.

The album releases this Friday, October 27th on vinyl LP, compact disc and digitally by way of the good folks over at Transcending Obscurity Records.
